I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Transportation Planning at Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, where I contribute to the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. I have a Ph.D. in Transportation Planning from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT). My doctoral research focused on understanding active transportation behavior across diverse socioeconomic groups. I have established myself as an expert in the fields of transportation policy and governance and have since extended my expertise to a broad array of topics including rail transportation, transit corridors, logistics, public transportation, and road safety. My research interests encompass key areas such as transportation planning, transportation policy, and future research in transportation in terms of understanding and developing effective strategies in the aforementioned topics of transportation using mathematical and simulation models and data analysis tools and methods. Beyond academia, I have held influential roles, including serving as a Research Staff Member in various public policy research think tanks at the national level since 2013, and especially at the Islamic Parliament Research Center from 2020 until now. I have an extensive publication record including peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, industry and research project reports, and numerous policy papers reflecting my commitment to both academic and applied research in transportation. My academic affiliations and industry roles underscore my dedication to advancing transportation systems through rigorous research and policy-driven solutions. Working with professors, students and researchers at Tarbiat Modares University as one of the best universities in Iran is very sweet and enjoyable. I am proud of being Iranian and living in Iran, which has an ancient culture, a proud history, and great men and women. I live every day in this university with the motivation to build a more advanced and powerful country than ever, and I am very hopeful for the bright future of Iran.
